about the founder
Melissa’s yoga journey began in 2013 shortly after having her first child. Yoga taught her about the importance of self care, being present, living in gratitude, acceptance, and letting go of expectations. She decided she wanted to share these revelations with the world! She completed her 200hr RYT training in 2016 after having her second child. In 2018 she became a certified Kidding Around Yoga teacher to further her practice with her own children. Her passion grew stronger practicing with kids and while she has taught yoga to all ages, from crawlers to seniors, she now specializes in ages 2-12 years old. Melissa has a BAS degree in Health Promotion and Education, is a Certified Health Education Specialist, and has years of experience teaching in early childhood settings.
She is a firm believer that yoga can change the world, one peaceful child at a time.
